Book Buyback
Pine Technical College offers a Book Buyback program during the week of finals for each Fall and Spring semester. The campus store will buy back used books needed for the following semester through the campus store's wholesaler. When the campus store quota has been met, the wholesaler may purchase the book on a supply-and-demand basis at their rate.
Six reasons affecting the price offered for your book during Book Buyback:
1. the condition of your book;
2. the campus store may be overstocked;
3. national demand for your book;
4. a new edition may have been published;
5. custom package with missing pieces;
6. the instructor may have indicated he or she will not be using the book.
Return Policies
Textbooks must be returned within the first five (5) business days of the semester with your receipt. Shrink-wrapped books are not returnable once opened.
Textbook Returns Policy
-- A receipt is required for all returns and exchanges.
-- All textbook sales are final if purchased after the posted Returns Deadline.
-- If you write in new textbooks or remove the shrink-wrap, you will not be able to return them for the full price.
-- The Returns Deadline (the last day to return books for the Spring, 2012 semester) is January 13th.
General Returns Policy
-- You must have your receipt for any return.
-- Returns must be made within one calendar week of purchase.
-- All items must be in original condition: clothing may not have been worn; items must still be in their original packaging, etc.
-- Sale items are sold as-is and are non-returnable. All sales are final.
Note: The PTC Campus Store reserves the right to refuse any return or exchange if a receipt is not provided or if the returns deadline has expired.
