Peer Tutors are not substitutes for your instructors, so they will not re-lecture your course material, they will assist you with learning the material in a different format. Tutors can help with brainstorming ideas, researching topics, thesis statements, outlines, topic sentences, and grammar for your research paper. Tutors will not do your work for you.
PTC staff and faculty hold free seminars/workshops that teach tips about time management, stress management, studying, test-taking, the college environment overall, how to navigate Desire2Learn (D2L) -- the college's "virtual campus," and much more.
