Academic Skills Center

Tutoring Services

The Academic Skills Center (ASC) is located in the Learning Resource and Technology Center and offers tutoring services at no charge to students with academic needs. Tutors will be available during the scheduled times in the LRTC. Students may stop in for a quick question or stay the whole time. Tutors will assist when needed and help students gain the study skills required to be successful in class. All tutoring is provided by peer tutors -- students who have completed coursework in the designated academic area. Peer tutors are familiar with course content as well as instructors' styles of delivery.

Please come prepared to a tutor's session and know there may be others using the same tutor. All students are required to shut off their phones and respect others in the ASC and the LRTC.

Questions? Contact Erin White, whitee@pinetech.edu or call 320-629-4574.

A schedule detailing hours of availability is posted outside the ASC and below -- follow the link.
