Sign Up for Assessment and Orientation
After applying to the college, taking the "Accuplacer" assessment test and attending an Orientation/Registration session are mandatory steps for all PTC students, unless you receive other direction from admissions staff.
Once you have received an acceptance letter, you may sign up for assessment and orientation. To reserve a seat, contact Student Affairs at 1-800-521-7463 or 320-629-5100.

Assessment and Orientation Schedule
To take the assessment test and to attend an Orientation/Registration session, call Student Affairs directly, 320-629-5100, and ask for your appointment to take the "Accuplacer."
To plan ahead, you may view the Accuplacer testing and Orientation/Registration schedule. When you call to reserve your spot, you may indicate which date(s) you prefer.
The "Accuplacer" Assessment Test
The Accuplacer assessment test covers reading, writing and mathematics skills. The test is an important tool in determining appropriate course placement, resulting in a successful college experience. For practice before the test, try these helpful sites:
