Bridging the Dream is a scholarship program established and funded by the Pine Technical College Foundation through donations and annual fundraising efforts. Any full-time student is eligible for a scholarship in the amount of $1,250. A part time student is eligible for a scholarship in the amount of $500. Click here for the scholarship application. Applications are due on July 6, 2012.

For Fall 2012, East Central Energy (ECE) will award two $1,000 scholarships to students planning to participate in approved post-secondary degree programs at Pine Technical College. These scholarships are available as the result of Capital Credits, which have remained unclaimed after several attempts to locate past members of the cooperative. ECE is excited to use this money for something as valuable as education.
Scholarship Eligibility and Requirements:
--Must be an an ECE member or son or daughter of an ECE member. ECE will verify your eligibility with the PTC Financial Aid Office.
--Please do not send applications to ECE. Applications should be turned in at the Student Affairs front desk.
--Students must be enrolled for Fall 2012 semester.
--Applications are due March 30, 2012.
--Scholarship recipients will be notified by April 20, 2012.

The Minnesota State College Student Association (MSCSA) Leadership Scholarship rewards emerging student leaders for their community service and their academic achievement. These scholarship winners serve their comunities in many ways-everything from mentoring Head Start students to organizing youth groups to volunteer as a translator.

Applications are due May 1 for fall semester and November 1 for spring semester.

Healthcare Alliance Scholarship and Searchable Database

The Healthcare Alliance Scholarship is supported through a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) with ARRA funding. The PTC Foundation Endowment scholarship program was established and funded by the PTC Foundation through donations and fundraising efforts. Deadline for applications will be July 6, 2012. A student is not eligible to recieve both a Bridging the Dream Scholarship and an Endowed Scholarship.

One $1200 and one $600 scholarship will be awarded to new or returning PTC Nursing students. Both part-time and full-time PTC Nursing students are eligible for this scholarship.

Two $1300 scholarships will be awarded to new or returning PTC full-time students enrolled in a Machining or Manufacturing program.

Five $1250 General Scholarships will be awarded to new or returning PTC full-time or part-time students.

SFM Foundation is a nonprofit foundation offering college scholarships to children of parents who have been killed or injured on the job. A qualifying student will be eligible to receive up to $5000 per year and can receive scholarships annually through graduation from a two or four-year technical school, college or university. Application deadline is March 31, 2012. All information regarding the scholarship requirements as well as the application can be found at www.sfm-foundation.org.

The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers, Minnesota (AASP-MN) is pleased to announce that it will award $1,000 scholarships this fall to select students enrolled in a post-secondary automotive (mechanical or collision repair) program. Recipients must be entering the second year of a two-year NATEF-certified automotive program in the fall of 2012. Applications can be downloaded from the website at www.aaspmn.org or submitted online at www.automotivescholarships.com/AASP-MN. Online submissions give students the opportunity to compete for several different awards. All applications must be postmarked or submitted online by March 31, 2012 to be considered.

Over $40,000 in scholarships will be awarded. Application deadline is April 2, 2012. Scholarship packet with application can be obtained from www.stcloudstate.edu/womenscenter or by visiting the Women's Center located on the SCSU Campus at: 520 5th Avenue South, St. Cloud, MN.
