ECE Scholarship

East Central Energy (ECE) is pleased to make a scholarship available to the students of Pine Technical College. In 2010, ECE will award one $1,000 scholarship to a student planning to participate in an approved traditional or non-traditional degree program. ECE is excited to use this money for something as valuable as education. One requirement for the ECE scholarship is that the student is an ECE member or son or daughter of an ECE member. Electronic Engineering Technology Scholarship for Underrepresented Students

The Electronic Engineering Technology Scholarship for Underrepresented Students is designed to provide support to underrepresented students pursuing a degree in electronic engineering technology at select two-year colleges and state universities within the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system.  Four scholarships will be awarded for the 2010-2011 academic year: two $1,500 awards for university students and two $1,000 awards for two-year college students. Healthcare Scholarship

The Healthcare Occupations Providing Economic Stimulus (HOPES) Scholarship is supported through a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) with ARRA funding. Check back for information regarding the availability of this scholarship in future semesters. 

Bridging the Dream Scholarship

Bridging the Dream is a scholarship program established and funded by the Pine Technical College Foundation through donations and annual fundraising efforts. Any full-time student is eligible for a scholarship in the amount of $1,000. Check back for information regarding the availability of this scholarship in future semesters. 

General Endowed Scholarship

General scholarships are funded by the Pine Technical College Foundation's Endowment through donations and capital campaign fundraising efforts. Students enrolled in any program at Pine Technical College are eligible to apply. Check back for information regarding the availability of this scholarship in future semesters. 

Brenda HagE Endowed Scholarship

The Brenda HagE Scholarship is funded by a donation to the Pine Technical College Foundation in memory of Brenda HagE. This scholarship requires that applicants be a resident of Pine County and be enrolled in the Practical Nursing program full-time. Check back for information regarding the availability of this scholarship in future semesters. 

Nexen Corporation & Regional Manufacturers' Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by donations from Nexen Corporation and other regional manufacturers to the Pine Technical College Foundation. Applicants must be enrolled in the Manufacturing/Machining program. Check back for information regarding the availability of this scholarship in future semesters. 

Advanced Manufacturing Scholarship

Through a Department of Labor Community Based Jobs Training (CBJT) Grant, Pine Technical College is able to offer scholarship opportunities to students in manufacturing programs. CBJT Scholarships of up to $2,500 per semester are available to cover tuition, books and materials for full-time students. Part-time students may apply for partial scholarships. Eligible credit-based programs include:
-- CNC Machine Tool Certificate
-- CNC Diploma
-- CNC A.A.S. Degree
-- Gunsmithing Certificate
-- Advanced Gunsmithing Diploma
-- Prototyping and Reverse Engineering
-- Prototyping – Gunsmithing

Scholarships may also be used for the current PTC Customized Training hour-based programs in:
-- Basic Welding
-- Intermediate Welding

Greater Minnesota Credit Union Scholarship

Greater Minnesota Credit Union is offering a non-traditional scholarship program. Applicants must be a GMCU member to apply, and non-members may open an account at GMCU to gain membership at GMCU to be eligible to apply for the scholarship.
