Bridging the Dream Scholarship
Bridging the Dream is a scholarship program established and funded by the Pine Technical College Foundation through donations and annual fundraising efforts. Any full-time student is eligible for a scholarship in the amount of $1,250. Click here for the application for Fall 2011.
Advanced Manufacturing Scholarship
Through a Department of Labor Community Based Jobs Training (CBJT) Grant, Pine Technical College is able to offer scholarship opportunities to students in manufacturing programs. CBJT Scholarships of up to $2,500.00 per semester are available to cover tuition and books for full-time students. Part-time students may apply for partial scholarships. Eligible credit-based programs include:
-- Precision Machining Certificate (formerly Machine Tool)
-- Computer Controlled Precision Machining Diploma (formerly CNC Operator)
-- Computer Controlled Precision Manufacturing A.A.S. Degree (formerly CNC Operations Technician)
-- Gunsmithing Certificate
-- Advanced Gunsmithing Diploma
-- Manufacturing Technology – Prototyping / Reverse Engineering Certificate
-- Manufacturing Technology – Prototyping Gunsmithing Diploma
Scholarships also may be used for PTC Customized Training hour-based programs in Basic Welding and Intermediate Welding.

MSCSA Leadership Scholarship
The Minnesota State College Student Association (MSCSA) Leadership Scholarship rewards emerging student leaders for their community service and their academic achievement. These scholarship winners serve their comunities in many ways-everything from mentoring Head Start students to organizing youth groups to volunteer as a translator.

Applications are due May 1 for fall semester and November 1 for spring semester.
Healthcare Alliance Scholarship and Searchable Database
The Healthcare Alliance Scholarship is supported through a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) with ARRA funding. PTC Foundation Endowment Scholarships
The PTC Foundation Endowment scholarship program was established and funded by the PTC Foundation through donations and fundraising efforts. Thanks to the generous donations the Pine Technical College Foundation will award ten endowed scholarships for the 2011-2012 Academic Year. Deadline for applications will be July 8, 2011. These scholarships are seperate from the Bridging the Dream Scholarships. A student is eligible to receive both a Bridging the Dream Scholarship and an Endowed Scholarship.

Brenda HagE Memorial and Allied Health Scholarships
One $1200 and one $600 scholarship will be awarded to new or returning PTC Nursing students. Both part-time and full-time PTC Nursing students are eligible for this scholarship.
Manufacturing Alliance Scholarships
Two $1300 scholarships will be awarded to new or returning PTC full-time students enrolled in a Machining or Manufacturing program.
Foundation General Scholarships
Six $1250 General Scholarships will be awarded to new or returning PTC full-time or part-time students.
Greater Minnesota Credit Union Scholarship
Greater Minnesota Credit Union offers a scholarship program. Applicants must be a GMCU member to apply, and non-members may open an account at GMCU to gain membership at GMCU to be eligible to apply for the scholarship. SellUsedBooks.com Scholarship
SellUsedBooks.com is an online book and textbook buyback service that gives student the opportunity to ease the financial burden of College by selling back their used textbooks-even many books which the bookstore won't buy back. SellUsedBook.com has a College Essay Scholarship Contest in which they will award $1000 to the winning student. SFM Foundation Scholarship
SFM Foundation is a nonprofit foundation offering college scholarships to children of parents who have been killed or injured on the job. A qualifying student will be eligible to receive up to $5000 per year and can receive scholarships annually through graduation from a two or four-year technical school, college or university. Application deadline is March 31, 2012. All information regarding the scholarship requirements as well as the application can be found at www.sfm-foundation.org.
Alliance of Automotive Service Providers (AASP) Scholarship
The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers, Minnesota (AASP-MN) is pleased to announce that it will award $1,000 scholarships this fall to select students enrolled in a post-secondary automotive (mechanical or collision repair) program. Recipients must be entering the second year of a two-year NATEF-certified automotive program in the fall of 2012. Applications can be downloaded from the website at www.aaspmn.org or submitted online at www.automotivescholarships.com/AASP-MN. Online submissions give students the opportunity to compete for several different awards. All applications must be postmarked or submitted online by March 31, 2012 to be considered.
