Truck Driving Training
Truck Driving Training
Want to change gears? Try truck driving! Truck drivers deliver everything from automobiles to canned foods. Firms of all types rely on trucks for pick-up and delivery of goods since no other form of transportation can deliver goods door-to-door. Let PTC’s Truck Driver Training program get you there.
Class A Truck Driving Training
Pine Technical College, in partnership with the Transportation Center for Excellence (TCE), is offering Class A Truck Driver Training. TCE has been training truck drivers for more than12 years. Using modern equipment and skilled instructors, our program exceeds all truck training standards. Students will train in several different types of tractors and trailers, giving them the experience they will need when they graduate the course. The course is 160 hours long, and we do not just focus on passing the CDL exam; we focus on the experience students will need when they acquire a job in industry.
About job placement
PTC works with a variety of trucking companies -- some of whom offer pre-hires/pre-enrollment job offers, and students will be given information about employer qualifications, tuition reimbursement, and more.
Qualifications
PTC and TCE will ensure you meet all requirements before you start, including: have a valid drivers license; pre-hire with one of 30 carriers; pass a DOT physical exam; pass a DOT drug screen.
