Early Learning Scholarships are Now Available!
The Early Learning Scholarship Program is an initiative created by the governor and finalized by the 2013 Minnesota Legislature to expand access to high-quality early childhood education programs for children ages three to five with high needs. These scholarships provide financial assistance for eligible families to enroll in high quality child care and early education programs participating in Parent Aware. To be eligible for scholarships, families must meet the following criteria:
- Live in Pine, Isanti, or Mille Lacs County and
- have a child who is 3 or 4 years old by Sept. 1 of the current school year and not yet eligible for kindergarten, and
- have an annual income at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Guideline.
