Pine Technical College has partnered with Mesabi Range Community and Technical College to form a two-year Associate of Arts degree. The courses will be offered entirely on the PTC campus; however, the degree will be awarded by Mesabi Range.
The A.A. degree is a two-year, general education degree that is designed to transfer to four-year colleges. Students will be given a variety of general education options that will fulfill the goal areas of the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum.
PTC courses will be offered at the campus in a traditional classroom setting. Mesabi Range courses will be offered at the PTC campus via ITV or online.
With the formation of the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum, the transferability of these courses to four-year colleges has been streamlined. Go to Minnesota Transfer Curriculum for more information.
