Computer Science
Program Overview
The Computer Science program is an Associate of Science degree. A Computer Science degree is composed of mainly general education courses as well as several computer science-focused courses.
According to the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum, the general education components of the Computer Science program will transfer. The computer science-focused courses do not fall under the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum; however, the likelihood of transferability is strong.
Pine Technical College has created several articulation agreements with other four-year colleges in the Computer Science program. An articulation agreement is a guarantee between a two-year and four-year college that complete transfer of the two-year degree into a four-year program will occur.
