Financial Aid Information

All Pine Tech-Mesabi AA students if eligible will receive their Financial Aid through Mesabi Range Community and Technical College. When you do your FAFSA, you will need to enter Mesabi's school code, not Pine Tech's. The school code is 004009. You will then be contacted by Mesabi regarding your eligibility.

Before each semester, you will be required to fill out and submit a Consortium Agreement and a copy of your class schedule. If this process is not completed, you will not receive financial aid for the semester. A Consortium Agreement is a document that states you will only receive aid from one campus (Mesabi) for all classes you take (at Pine Tech and Mesabi). Without the Consortium Agreement in place, Mesabi Range won't have your Pine Technical College classes on your schedule. You can get a Consortium Agreement from the Admissions Office at Pine Technical College, or from you Advisor.

If you will be receiving Financial Aid, Mesabi will first apply it to what you owe at their campus, and then they will mail a check to Pine Technical College if there is tuition owed on this campus. If there is a remainder balance, a check will be mailed directly to the student.

Your Financial Aid Contacts are:
