SPCH 1270 Introduction to Speech (3 credits)
This course emphasizes interpersonal communication, small group communication and public speaking. Students will study theories of communication, but will also participate in these forms of communication. Along with the emphasis on verbal communication, students will heighten their skills of relating meaningfully to others, thinking critically, organizing ideas clearly, and speaking and listening effectively.
