PSYC 1200 Introduction to Psychology (3 credits)

 

This course presents a survey of contemporary and historical psychology, including the biological bases of behavior, the effects of social conditioning and environmental influences on behavior and personality. This course3 also explores cognitive mechanisms, social influences, personality disorders and treatment.
(Prerequisites: Completion of READ 0200 or above; completion/or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 0200 or above or appropriate assessment scores)
