HEOP 1206 Pharmacology (2 credits)

 

The study of pharmacology covers a broad spectrum of diverse yet interrelated topics, such as botany, molecular chemistry, research, clinical observation, toxicology, legislation, and patient education. It is not the purpose of this course to instruct in the prescribing or administrating of medication; rather it is to provide a framework of thinking for the medical office professionals, laying a foundation of knowledge about drug theory and treatment.
