The A.S. Degree in Business Administration program includes instruction in management theory, economics, marketing, business decision-making, accounting and several general education goal areas. Within the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum, the general education components of the Business Administration program will transfer to other colleges and universities. The business-focused courses do not fall under the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum; however, the likelihood of transferability is strong. Pine Technical College has created several articulation agreements with other four-year colleges in the Business Administration program. An articulation agreement is a guarantee between a two-year and four-year college that complete transfer of the two-year degree into a four-year program will occur.

The A.S. degree in Business Administration has several transfer/articulation agreements with four-year colleges or universities. It also transfers into a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with Southwest Minnesota State University (SMSU) which is offered entirely on the Pine Technical College campus. To plan ahead and take advantage of this seamless transfer opportunity, talk with SMSU Program Coordinator and Advisor Dr. Lori Wynia. Wynia regularly visits the PTC campus to advise students planning to transfer to SMSU to earn the bachelor's degree.
