The PTC Brand
As a growing and changing college, PTC is still building its unique identity. Everyone in the PTC college community must enhance and strengthen the college's reputation by presenting a relevant brand and a consistent, compelling visual identity. PTC's growth and plans for continued growth require a focused and effective approach to telling the PTC story.
To understand branding, first realize a logo isn't a brand, but a symbol that represents a brand. A brand encompasses much more than just a logo — it's everything we do and say, as well. A brand is an opinion formed through experiences. A brand is a reputation.
The standards outlined in PTC's Visual Identity Standards Manual provide guidelines for everyone to embrace and help preserve a unified visual identity and perpetuate the brand of the entire college. With the application of these standards, we are more equipped to manage our identity and the image we want to project.
These standards are for use as a reference guide in developing communication materials. While most major applications are addressed, it is not possible to anticipate every design situation that may arise. When you have any questions, please contact PTC's marketing office.
The success of the Pine Technical College brand identity depends on the consistent use of these standards by everyone involved in the creation and execution of communication materials to help share the PTC story. The President's Office has reviewed and adopted these standards and asks the Pine Technical College community to follow and embrace them. Thank you for your commitment to PTC's brand standards!
